TV Twinections

I'm quite far down the rabbit hole. You can tell this because I got ridiculously excited when flipping through the nothing that is on Friday nights, and I catch that Jennie Garth is on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. I started bouncing around and squeeing quietly.

For those of you who don't know (and why you're cruising twi-blogs if you don't even know the basics I don't know) Jennie Garth is married to Peter Facinelli aka Carlisle Cullen.



I couldn't help but flash back to the interview where they admitted she likes him to bring his Dr Cullen outfits home and wear them in the bedroom. (oh trust me, I would too if I was actually married to any of the Twilight men!)

She was playing for the American Heart Association (and geek that I am couldn't help but think of how Carlisle would approve of that charity) she started out well, and then ran into three or four legitimatly difficult and obscure questions. She ended up raising 100k for the charity and bowing out.

Good show overall, but, I was seriously more excited about when her daughter said she always goes to dad for help with homework (well, he IS a doctor!) than when she won 100k for charity. And was really more disappointed that I didn't have anyone to Squee this info to, than she left 75k on the table. I didn't really want to admit to Mr Twinatic that I was being so bouncy and cheering her on so enthusiastically because of yet another Twinection.

Australia is Hot for Riley

Since we have Hollywood, and not many foreign films star Americans or are as kickass as American movies (I know, this is starting to sound pretty bratty arrogant American here...bear with me though) I never really thought about going nuts for a bit character because he was born in your country.

Until I saw Twilighters Australia, a site dedicated to Adelaide born actor, Xavier Samuel, who landed the part of Newborn Riley in Eclipse.

Which just goes to show that other countries that love our movies are gaga for their actors that end up in them :)

The Game Has Changed (Hotness Ahead)

For so long, it has been the debate over Team Edward v Team Jacob.

We've gotten used to it, debated it much with friends, read the books and argued over who was a better boyfriend. That has pretty much been it, until now. Not until the movies, not until they've given us a visual focal point for our obsession, did we see it was bigger than this.

In Twilight we had a chance to meet not only our dreamy Edward,

The original Mr. Sparkle to have our hearts

but, we also get introduced to some hotties we may have otherwise overlooked while reading as we weren't imaging ourselves as Alice, Rosalie or Esme as much as we were putting ourselves right smack dab in the middle as Bella.

We also got to meet a WAY young and
very cute but in no way hot Jacob Black.

You may not have really thought about it until New Moon casting and filming news started coming out, there is a whole new side of the Twilight Saga Hotness.

It wasn't until New Moon that a whole new aspect to the debate opened up and we realized the true scope of the issue.

The issue is no longer Team Edward vs Team Jacob, the question really is:

Team Coven or Team Wolfpack

Here is the decidedly not hot Quil Ateara, who is just human in New Moon, but, will join the wolfpack in Eclipse. (the question is though, will they follow with tradition of trying to recast each actor/wolf once they're part of the pack?)

The Reality of Falling in Love With Food

As I was poking around on youtube trying to see if I could find ANY copies left out there of the leaked New Moon trailer (doodiehead Summit seems to have had most of them pulled by now)

I ran across this gem, which does a great job highlighting how hard it is to be in love with delicious food. I laughed quite a bit, I hope you enjoy it too!

FACEinHOLE Friday!

Last Friday, Latchkey Wife introduced me to FACEinHOLE with her blog entry "Can I start calling us Robkey Wife?"

Being the mega copy cat Twilight lover I am, I decided to check out faceinhole and see what they had. OME is there some awesome stuff!!!

Because Mr. Twinatic is a jealous man I am madly in love with my husband, I decided instead of having a bunch with RPattz as my Edward, I'll do some with Mr. Twinatic as my Edward.

Here is my first attempt, which I promptly put up on Facebook, and then made my profile pic (because I'm crazy like that)


To which Mr. Twinatic promptly replies:

I just threw up in my mouth a little...

To which I replied:

well, if you don't like it, you don't have to be the one in the pic, RPattz can be my Edward if you prefer ...

Regardless, I thought I would give it one more go featuring Mr. Twinatic as Edward. To be honest, this is probably closer to how it would be...

Right about here, I got done trying to placate feature Mr Twinatic, and decided to try some with RPattz as my Edward. In pretty much all of which I look like a supergoober, but, actually isn't too far off from how it would go (I'm not terribly photogenic) but, I did notice that it really helps with these things if you have a similar hair color/texture as the original person in the picture... and while they possibly could have looked a little better with a little more time put in, I really didn't need to be wasting all the rest of my day daydreaming with photographic record of our love...

Turned out hot, but, maybe not quite the right head size in retrospect.

Again with 'that's probably the face I would make if faced with such a situation.

Tire swings are always fun, especially if you have your hand started down Robwards pants...

This one is my favorite, it actually came out looking quasi-real.

1) Pocket E can stand up by himself!

In the end, I just had to adjust his little hips before he was balanced better to stand on his own
(I didn't realize at first that his hips were adjustable)
Which made picture taking so much easier!

Move Over Pocket Edward ... It's Hot Pocket Jacob!!!

Curious about what cool new toys come with the release of New Moon, I started trawling the web to see what I could see. Thinking I would maybe find designs for new Edward and Bella to go on adventure with, I forgot about the fact that there would be a whole new Hottness trying to steal a place in the hearts of the pocket people loving world.

Shirtless Super Hot Pocket Jacob Black!!!!

(Who will be mine as soon as they release him in October!!!)

The only downside in site is that he looks even less pose-able than already available (and limited) Pocket E.

I can't tell if he comes with a removable shirt, or if there's two versions, but, the one below looks a tad more mobile (wishful thinking?)

If there's two, I'll be getting both. (I'm becoming quite the action figure whore!)

As I haven't seen an Alice figure so far, I'm going to go with the labeling that this will be the new Alice to also be released in October with the other New Moon Figures.




Cute style and closer to looking like a normal person than the Bellas I saw with the Shadeswards at the toy store.

(she looks like such a hag! One cheek is flat, and she has some kind of crap hanging out of her nose ... ewww!)

And last but not least, Pocket B and E will be making a comeback with new style for New Moon.

This seems to be the release year for broad shoulders, Twilight Pocket E is going to be jealous!
(is it just me or is there something wrong with his pants?)

Looks like I'll have to start saving money away now as there's a whole army of pocket people must haves about to hit the shelves in Oct!
