Bree Tanner; I don't care if you don't care, GO READ IT!!!

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner came out on Saturday. I was actually kind of surprised that other than the girls at Eyes of Amber are talking about it.

No, it's not Midnight Sun. Yes, that sucks. But, again, she didn't write this after she stopped writing that. This was written before Breaking Dawn, while she was editing Eclipse.

Also, I think you're going to be very surprised by the content included from this book in the movie if you don't read the book first.

Lastly, it's available for free in it's entirety online for a month. Go to BreeTanner.com and click on the arrow to the right of the book (a bit down the page on the right) to open the cover, then use the arrows to turn pages back or forth.

It boils down to this for me: Yes, it would suck to never get Midnight Sun, but, this has nothing to do with that really. It's another Twilight book by Stephenie. It showcases just how much larger than Bella and Edward the Twilight world is. It's dark and tragic, in more ways than you're going to guess. Which makes it something completely new from Stephenie. AND, for me at least, by the end, I definitely have hope that there may be more Twilight books someday. Which brings me back to GO READ IT!!!

The Host Review / Go Read It!

*Sorta SPOILERS Alert*
(not too many, just a bit)

So, I'm as much of a twinut as the next person, I love it, I think about it all the time, I read it over and over again. While I previously would say I liked Stephenie Meyer as a person, I guess I wouldn't praise her too much as an author (c'mon peeps, Twilight was bad - Edward's gorgeous face - ) I did appreciate that the books got better as we went, but, was never even a tad interested in her other book The Host. Which is a tad odd as I usually love sci-fi/different kinda books.

Even when they mentioned a movie deal, I got about as far as thinking 'that's nice' and moved on. It wasn't until dastardly Costco had it on their tables for sale that I caved and let my curiosity get the best of me. What else was I supposed to do? It's just the perfect size to go on the shelf next to my others ...

Anywho, I read it in three days, and I LOVED it!!! What can I say, woman knows how to write characters, touch emotion, and make me bawl like a baby!

I then thought, everyone needs to read this, it's good! But, how to get the twihoors to cross over when there is such current animosity towards all things SM (*cough*breetanner*cough*mightnightsun*cough*)

So let me break it down for you twilight style (note, it's totally different than this, but, in twilight terms, it'll let you get a feel for it) I'll write you a book jacket as if it was happening in twilight world ...

"Earth has been invaded by an alien species. A human named Rosalie has been captured, there are questions to be answered. Bella is inserted into Rosalie to retrieve those answers and report them to the others. Rosalie does not take this lying down, even though she's a prisoner in her own body that is now Bella's. Along the way, Bella becomes aware of Rosalie's partner Emmett. Through Rose's memories, Bella falls in love with Emmett, and eventually, allows Rose to talk her into going in search of him. Eventually they find him, and meet Edward."

Which then gives you one of the most interesting love triangles you'll get. Emmett loves Rosalie and Edward loves Bella. Rosalie and her body love Emmett, Bella comes to love Edward, but, because of Rose, loves Emmett too.

There's a crapton else going on as well, it's truly a good read, and despite the terms I used to make it relate-able, I assure you, there is no character recycling here. Stephenie Meyer has succeeded in creating a whole new world filled with all new people, and truly, if she hooked into your emotions the first time, she'll do it again!

The Most Awesome Coffee Cup Ever!

Recently while at Toys R Us (while I was on a trip to spend my little spending money on yet more Twilight crap) I stumbled upon the most awesomenest coffee mug ever! (which of course I bought!)

For $9.99 you get a cool Team Edward cup, which I was excited about, that's actually a thermal mug, (which upon reading decided my purchase of it right then and there, over a shirtless Jacob action figure), when hot, the Team Edward mug displays the Cullen Crest and says ... what would I do without you?

Now, every morning, I get giddy like a schoolgirl when it's coffee time. I will fully admit that it makes me ridiculously happy each and every day, that I can have Edward asking himself what ever would he do without me!

Mostly now I'm just trying to keep it out of sight of Mr. T ... I don't think he'd be much amused.

Which will make weekends interesting ... what to do? Risk Mr. T catching wind of my latest shenanigans? Or go a day without Edward marveling over my presence?

oh yeah, and for all you wolf lovers, there is this:

which goes from pic of Jacob and text that reads Team Jacob on black background, to the wolfpack tattoo and the text, 'it's a wolf thing' ... which I guess would do it for some people ...

If you're thinking of buying this in a store (vs. online), I would recommend opening the box and looking at the mug you're thinking of getting. I opened it up to see what the whole mug looks like, and noticed a bit of goober stuck to the bottom edge. It looks like the final coat built up a bit at the bottom, it looks like it would come off okay, but, I'd be a little concerned it'd peel a bit up from the bottom while trying to remove it.

I ended up looking through about twelve of them before I found one that didn't have it and the very nice employees watched on as the crazy lady opened and repackaged just about every mug on the display. What can I say, I've learned the hard way about NECA and their ideas of quality control ...

What?! A New Twilight Book!!! Why Thank You SM, You Just Made My Week/Month/Until Eclipse Time!

I woke up this morning, kicked ass and took names, then sat down to the computer to log onto Facebook. Where I find none other than a link to a USA Today article that made my day.

The long and the short of it is that THERE'S GOING TO BE A NEW TWILIGHT BOOK!!!!! Oh, what? And a portion of sales go to the red cross? Bonus! SM FTW! It seems like she was inspired by the global, and twilight fandom in specifics, effort to aide Haiti and Chile as they go through these tough times of rebuilding.

The book is actually more of a Novella. A bit over 200 pages when typeset. A project SM originally was just toying with back when writing Eclipse, and was thinking of putting in the Twilight guide until she found out it was a bit too long to just be slipped in like that. It's called "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner".

It covers the last week of Bree's life. Having been turned about three months prior, it sounds like the story will cover a bit of life in Victoria's army, the end of the armies time in Seattle, the march to Forks, and the battle from the newborn army's point of view.

I have to say I'm super excited for this book for so many reasons, of which I will list below:

I need more twilight books. I've read the four I have and want more.

This is a chance to be a darker book. I've never read the host, but, I've read Twilight, and the lady likes to wrap everything up in big pink sparkly bows. This story has no chance of being happy. It can only be a violent, chaotic, tragic little story, and this excites me (don't get me wrong, I love the goo, but, it'll be a nice change of pace that gives more depth to the Twilight world).

It gives me hope that there will be more Twilight books. I super super extra sparkle hope that there will be more. I want midnight sun. I want more. I love Twilight so hard and am not okay with just four books in that world.

It'll buzz up Eclipse. I don't know about you, but, in trying to stay away from tons of spoilers and such, I'm just not getting the buzz like I did before New Moon. The way it's being marketed and such, there's just nothing official out there yet. No merch, no TV spots, no hype. If I didn't know it was coming out on 6/30, I wouldn't have a clue there's another one on the horizon. Not only that, it makes it sound like everyone in on the movie got a copy of the manuscript and that Bree will be a bit bigger part of the movie than she was in the book, this intrigues me.

Hopefully sales will be huge and it will further encourage Summit that the Twilight craze has NOT died down, that they should go through with BD, and that it has enough support to be two movies.

Anywho, it looks like the book drops June 5 and can be purchased in hardcover for around $13.99.

ON TOP OF THAT to give a huge high five to her fan base, and really, to give me an answer to any jerkwad that thinks she's just milking this for a cash cow, you'll be able to read the whole thing FOR FREE between June 7 and July 5 at it's website. There'll even be a donation link to the Red Cross if you want to read for free and still support the aide effort.

I just hope they'll go all the way through publishing it in paperback so I can get a copy that matches the rest of my set :)

Someday I'll get a grown up hardback set, but, that's maybe for when I'm not reading and re-reading quite so constantly, and when I don't have little kids that ruin everything anymore ...

Loves Me Some Sokka!!! (my fave sokka episode Included :)

Years ago, before I even ever knew Twilight existed, there was a little show that premiered on Nickelodeon. Called Avatar: The Last Airbender. I watched it from the premier episode all the way through the end. I've seen every episode. I love that show SO HARD!

So, natch, when I heard there was going to be an AVATAR movie coming out I was really excited, and then disappointed, it wasn't Avatar at all, it was a bunch of weird blue people playing Pocahontas ... not what I had in mind at all.

Then I did hear they were also doing a movie called The Last Airbender, and I was excited all over again!!!

From what I can tell, the movie covers the first third of the Saga, what the viewers found in Book One: Water. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, you're missing out. It's a FABULOUS show!

I was THRILLED to hear that Jackson Rathbone was playing Sokka

JBone's infectious smile and sunny personality seem like a GREAT fit for the comic relief that Sokka's character provides to the story. I'm really excited to see how it plays out!

I am a bit hesitant about M Night Shyamalan being in charge of the whole thing though,while I do love his movies, the show was very funny and clever, and I don't know if he can keep the same tone it deserves.

Another note of bummer for me, is that in the series, Prince Zuko, son of the firelord and primary adversary to Aang the Avatar

was voiced by Dante Basco, who if you don't know off the top of your head, was Rufio from Hook

who is now admittedly now a tad bit older than when i first fell in love with him, and maybe a little bit older than Prince Zuko should be, but, in my opinion, he's still zuko and should have been cast for him in the movie regardless!!!

cause this guy they cast just isn't doing it for me ...

and, they've got the hair wrong, but, whatevs ...

All in all, again, great show, SO EXCITED for the movie, and really can't wait to see what Jacksper brings too the role. Also looking forward to see him with lines and no horrific wig!

It shouldn't spoil anything for you if you want to see the movie as it takes place in the third book (which'll be the third movie if it ever gets that far) and as it's mostly a side story will likely not even make it in if we get to Book Three: Fire. Enjoy!!

New Moon in the Cheap Seats!

Locally we have a theater that used to be the big main Cinemark theater with 12 screens. Years ago, Cinemark built a better theater in the same mall that featured 17 screens and stadium seating with more comfortable chairs, arm rests that group and down, seats that rock a bit, and a bunch more cool modern features.

Instead of demo-ing the old theater, Cinemark took the 12 screen set up and started taking older movies that are out on, or nearly out on DVD, and letting folk see them on a big screen for $1.75 during the week, and $2.00 for fri and sat night showings.

Good news, New Moon has just hit the buck-fitties!!! (when it first opened, all shows were $1.50 and the name just hasn't caught up to the price change)

Needles to say, I've seen it several times and have plans to see it several more.

On my most recent viewing, Thursday night, I finally decided to take some notes so I could write a bit about my thoughts about the movie. I packed in a note pad and pen, got it out during the previews and got ready to jot a few thoughts.

I ended up with thirteen pages of notes ...

Let's just say what started as a 'jot a few notes to remind me later' turned into channeling my HS note taking mania at the height of finals preparation. Which gave me what ended up looking more like a director's critique of a rough cut than a few notes on a movie I want to blog about ...

Anywho, it gives me LOTS of material to work with, and, over the next few mondays (maybe thursdays too) I'll be going over a page or two, and pretending like you all care ;)

Hey, y'all, fandango just sent me the fan alert. Looks like (here at least) Fandango has started selling tickets for the opening weekend of Remember Me!!! (BIG YAY!)

I doubt it will be the huge circus that a Twilight Saga opening weekend is, but, it is a movie with the precious, and I wouldn't underestimate the power of that! On one hand, I don't want to tell anyone about it until I have money to buy the tickets tomorrow, on the other hand, I know that the maybe two people that still read here live no where near me and the ticket that will put my butt in a seat is likely safe.

So, because I like you, I'll tell you after all, head on over to fandango and get some!

Oh Verizon, Way to Reach THAT Demographic!

I don't know if you've seen it yet or not, but, Verizon is out with a new commercial featuring "Sebastian" and his girlfriend ... Sebastian's styling/outfit is looking VERY familiar ... what I'm not recognizing is the non whiny, non stuttering, non blinking at a hummingbirds wing pace, blond girlfriend ...

Anywho, the punchline is she has crappy cell coverage, he ditches her, and a wolf is ready to dive in for seconds. I wonder wherever they got this unique plot idea from ;)

All in all, what I can't tell, is if it's lame or not. Initially I want to say yes, yes it is, but, then it is kinda about twilight ... and that makes me want to say no ... what do you think?

Also, love the teeth! The more I watch Twi movies, the more I just wish the vamps could have some retractable vamp teeth ... (like the ones in this commercial where they line up on the canines, not like on Tru Blood [which I love other than teeth] where they come out of the outside incisors ... the spacing is just wrong when done like that ...)

Facing the Music & Twilight Graphic Novel

Firstly, I'm sorry, I'm a lame blogger, and it will likely stay so until after tax season.

I was so proud of myself for being able to keep up a nearly daily posting for months. Then, real life made an appearance.

There's a whole list of reasons why I'm being lame. Some of which I'll try to catch you up on.

One thing that may help, is that I found the part of the posting options where you can schedule a date and time for posts to be posted ... so, I can maybe find a day or two where I have more time, type a few posts, and then schedule them to be posted in a more strung out fashion.

Now, in other news, as most of you have likely heard. There is going to be a Twilight Graphic Novel that will be released over several installments. The first of which is set to release March 16. It looks pretty cool if you like such things, you can check it out on amazon

Another bit of random, I think it's interesting that the storm hitting the East Coast is being so nasty and unpredictable that amazon is making a note about it.

I have to say, that's the first time I've seen anything like it.

They may be good, they may be terrible, regardless, I have a love for the Twilight Action Figures!

I don't have NM Edward yet, he's terrible!!! I don't have Alice yet, I've been on the fence about her ... that is until I saw this ...

over at Dread Central

and now I'm seeing a need for a sparkleward, a shirtless jacob, an Alice, and a Jasper ... which is WAY more money than I have right now ... I'm thinking I can't possibly spend any more money on this without feeling HORRIBLE because the house fund is tight as it is right now ...

And then I remembered that Mr Twinatic has yet to get me a Christmaversary gift yet ... (the 29th made it 8yrs for us) and as he's done in the past, if the first attempt doesn't go well, he just forgets about it ... one attempt has been made, but, he swears he's set the money aside.

I'm thinking that as they're not out until April, this gives me a little time to connive, scheme, sell some stuff, etc. so i can get my grubs on these. I'm going to just tell Mr Twinatic to set aside that money, maybe do another can drive, and dig through the closets for some eBayable things.

I'm not sure if this habit is a good thing ... it seems to be costing a lot ... I'm no longer sure that it's cheaper than a meth addiction ...

Hello,

It's been a while!!!

Somewhere over the New Moon release, the nearly traumatic encounters with drunk people four weekends in a row, my brother's wedding, and being in charge of making Christmas this year, Christmas itself, the kids home for Christmas break, an Anniversary, and New Years ... I lost my fever.

I lost my line of sight on my love of Twilight.

I didn't follow any of the blogs. I haven't even been obsessively following my beloved JJ and STY over at Twitarded! I've only seen New Moon twice! *gasp!!!* I haven't been re-reading any of the books, or even listening to them on my ipod. I haven't even read any fanfic in about 6 weeks!!! ... i hadn't even stalked any pictures of the precious ...

The worst part about it all?

... I didn't really care ...

I was actually beginning to wonder if I was ... over it ...

if the love had left me ...

if I was "cured" of the fevah ...

That was until I caught video below on comcasts front page out of the corner of my eye ...

(and of course they had it stopped to a still of the broken tooth smile)

I was IMMEDIATELY all kinds of concerned for RPattz ... was he hurt ... was he okay ... what happened to his precious tooth?!?! WHAT WAS GOING ON?!?!?

I rushed straight to all the twi-blogs to see if this was recent or old news (still don't know when it happened)

Needless to say, it all came rushing back to me, the obsession, the fever, the love!!! All it took was thinking RPattz had been massively, painfully, horrifically, disfiguringly (okay, this may be getting into 'exaggeration' territory) injured for me to remember why I love Twilight so!

I still have a lot going on in that stupid RL that won't leave me alone, but, I will find a way to balance ... I have to ... I have a lot to catch up on!!!

Thankfully, I do have Rob (and all my twi men) to make me smile when life get stressfull! :)

My New Moon Premier Hot Mess!!!

I had been so excited for the NM premiere for months! Had bought my tickets WAY ahead of time for me, and the only other person I know in RL who's even close to as excited about Twilight as I am Parker.

I had been planning for weeks on what to take, how to pregame, what to do, etc. But, as we got closer, it looked like life would pretty much get in the way. We both have kids (stupid kids take SO much time [not to mention money] away from Twilight!!! j/k ... kinda ...) and she has a jobby job, so we couldn't get away to the theater till after five ... BOO!!!

If you remember, by buzz was harshed quite considerably by waking up at 3am thursday morning to a sick kiddo saying he had a bad headache and felt like he was going to throw up. Ended up being a fever of 102.7 and 90 mins before I was able to get back into bed.

The sick kiddo incedent threw me for a loop and lost my buzz morning of, but, after a bit (and help from @donnersun) I remembered I was going to see the CW version of a SM book, and some shirtless rob and got the excited back.

Parker's work schedule pretty much meant no pregame, just straight to the theater. Which was okay. In the end, Mr. Twinatic ended up staying home sick the 19th (legitimately, I tried to talk him into fakin in early plans of staging, but, he said no, lucky me he actually got sick that day after all) to which I thought was a boon as it maybe meant I could leave to be in line early (even if I was alone as Parker still couldn't' get off work that early)

This did not end up being the case. Instead, it mostly just meant A LOT of sneak packing (Mr. Twinatic has NO clue how much actual merch I've accumulated ...) he kept following me around to see what I was doing and to hang out, normally things I would love and encourage, but, as it was, it made it VERY hard to collect all the mags and minis I wanted to take for in line.

All said and done, I had my minis, my mags, my twilight director's notebook, both movie companions, a travel game of scrabble, some yahtzee, a deck for skip-bo, a regular card deck (yes, geek here) a chair, snacks, bottles (one of water, one empty) and a backpack to carry them all in.

I got ~~guilted~~ talked into taking a banking deposit in for my boss, and left knowing I needed to stop at the store and get some kind of liquor, juice, sandwich, and drop off the deposit before I even could get to the theater.

Not even two steps out my door, I was detained by my neighbor who is also a twifan (the normal kind, not the crazy ass over teakettle kind) and wasn't going, she kept me for nearly 15 minutes to talk about the premier, how much fun it was going to be, how the movie was looking, how her daughter couldn't go, hwo they had almost won movie tickets, and how they didn't think they could go until december. I FINALLY and somewhat gracefully was able to pull out, and head to the corner store where juice and rum were quickly bought. I then RACED into town (approx 25 mins away) to the sandwich shop, and then the bank. Free of all preshow errands, I FINALLY got to head to the theater, I got a decent parking spot, got a spot in line, set up my chair, and promptly started talking to/making friends with the people around me in line, I was SO EXCITED by this point, it was nice to be back from the doldrums at the beginning of the day.

Later, this becomes our twilight army who may or may not have gotten in a fight with some bitches in line, and my very own Parker may turn into that obnoxious drunk bitch that nearly ruins it for everyone ...

At this point, this blog is getting kind of long and isn't even halfway through, so I'll save the rest for later ... (also, I may or may not be trying to duck out so I can slip off to see NM FINALLY for the second time ...)

What's Up With New Moon Mini B?!?

Twi Mini E does not like NM Mini B. This is just a fact.

One of the reasons why is that she's in a tank top, and he sports a coat. A little thing, I know. But, if you haven't learned yet, Edward is a gentleman. He does not like not really needing a coat, yet, having to wear one while Bella freezes, he would much prefer that she was wearing a coat as well, or that he could offer his to her.

Previously, I'd just written it off to she must wear this at some point while working in Jacobs garage maybe, or during the cliff jump scene maybe, or maybe they gave her a tank because they have Jacob wearing a t-shirt ... that was until I actually got to see New Moon. It occurs to me while I'm watching, that the lowest level of undress she ever even gets to is a tee layered over a long sleeve shirt, either that, or she's wearing one of her many coats (I forgot I was counting after about four or five different ones) in fact, I almost missed entirely when she was even wearing the tank top at all.

It finally occurred to me (near the end of the scene) that hey, this is it, this is the stupid tank that somehow managed to make in a lot of the posters, and for the action figure. It was in her bedroom while she was sleeping, she's wearing the tank

M'kay, mystery solved, the tank is Bella's PJ's ...which brings up a new question ... Hey NECA, WTH?!? Why is NM Mini B running around in her PJ's?!? She had about a million cool coats and a much better wardrobe this time, why not use ANYTHING ELSE that she wore in the entire movie? Why the tank?

New Moon DVD Promises

Firstly, the weekend has been Epic (in both the success and fail sorts of ways!) and I'm sure that by the time I get done writing about all of it, you'll be so sick of hearing about it!!! This week is kind of busy though, so, I'll try to get to it in a timely manner. Also, as some of our Int'l friends haven't seen NM yet, I will try to hold off on spoilers for the next week (that's about all the longer I can hold off on talking about details though) and will explore random thoughts and experience from the night (oh man) in the meantime.

I also want to apologize to all my bloggy friends who's blogs I usually read, I haven't been reading the blogs at all lately! I'll get back to it regularly after thanksgiving/my brother's wedding/my new moon high washes over, but, in the meantime, I do still love you all!

Anywho, I ran across this article in which they discuss some details about the DVD release!!! (SO SQUEE!!!)

It should be out early 2010, it should have tons of awesome features, and it will include some of the following deleted scenes:

"There will be probably about 20 minutes of deleted material," he explained, promising some meaty footage. "It really is good stuff and a bonus for the fans."
Among this bonus footage could be several moments MTV knows was shot but did not make the final "New Moon" cut, including:
» A scene with Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria driving to Forks in a car, snacking on a dead human. It was one of the final moments the actress filmed as the nomadic vampire.
» A scene with the human characters eating Burger King.
» Another scene with the humans, this time with Justin Chon and Michael Welch expressing jealousy over Edward's car.
» More scenes with the Volturi in Italy.
» An extended cut of the scene where Mike Newton quotes Shakespeare to Bella in the Forks High parking lot; in it, he does a Marlon Brando impersonation.

All in all, I can't wait to see New Moon over and over again (no money yet for a second viewing :( will have to have a second job so I can hire a sitter, get excessive amounts of tickets, and set up a two times a week rotation! I also can't wait to see Eclipse now (my favorite book mostly) and to hear what they decide about Breaking Dawn (I'm SURE they'll be making a decision soon now that the box office numbers are in/projected) on one hand, waiting does give them more time to get a good deal, on the other hand, it's probably going to end up costing Summit more. With New Moon overshooting all the projections of success, everyone involved will have mega bargaining chips to hammer out much bigger payrolls!

Twilight Double Feature / Edward Gives Emmett the Bird

I got the tickets for the Twilight/New Moon double feature opening night. (I will be writing MUCH more on this later ;)

One thing seeing Twilight on the big screen reminded me of, was something I've seen before, but, hadn't thought about in a while as I don't actually watch Twilight through all the way that much.

On the big screen it's much easier to see, but, in the baseball scene after Edward and Emmett crash and miss the ball, it looks like Robert gives Kellan the bird (at least it did/does to me) ...

Which I've heard people go back and fort on whether it actually happens or not, so, after being reminded of it across the huge screen, I thought I'd do a little investigating, which is when I found this:

so now, conclusively, Robert does indeed flip Kellan the bird, it actually did make it in the movie, and it cracks me up!

On another note, no spoilers per say, LOVED New Moon, it was way better than Twilight (not hard) there were somethings I missed/would have liked to see, and our adventure was HUGE! Again, will be writing much more about this later, but, thought we'd start little ;)

Help Me Twitardia, I've Lost My High!!!

Today is New Moon Day!!! I've been waiting for this for months! I've been plotting, and scheming, and languishing for this day!

All week I've been practically floating on cloud nine! I've actually thought on several occasions that the only other time in my life I was this excited for something, was on my wedding day!

Yesterday, I began to get a little nervous, things had been going almost too smoothly, and it's my personal experience that when things are going that well coming up to a big event, things are about to go horribly wrong. Like when I was supposed to drive to Cali to go to one of my best friends weddings, and came down with the stomach flu only two hours before we were supposed to hit the road. Missed the damn wedding!!!

Well, true to form, we get a knock on the door at 3am. It's my 7yo saying he has a headache and is feeling like he's going to throw up. Checked his temperature and it was 102.7, so we called the Dr. office to double check what stuff would mean to come in for an appointment, etc. gave him some water, tylenol, and horchata with aloe, then settled in to watch some cartoons. All in all, only up for about 90 mins, he said his headache went away, and the fever was gone by morning, but, thanks to the new school policy, he has to be fever free for 48hrs before he goes back. So, he's home through the weekend.

When my second son got up, he was not thrilled that his older brother was staying home and decided he DID NOT want to go either. Lots of arguing later, he's in the car on the way to school, I mention that maybe we should ask his teacher if she has a special job for him, he perks right up and gets all excited, which makes me feel a bit better, until I hear him say "I can't wait to see what kind of dog she has for me"

Yeah, a not so hot 40 mins later, I've successfully burst his bubble, and gotten him turned around for his school day (he's a child with autism [pretty high function when properly supplemented]) and able to leave the school. Getting home just in time for a mucousy sassy toddler to tell me what for!

Thanks to the events of the morning, I'm not excited or elated at all anymore. I've lost the buzz. I may not even be able to go get in line till 6:30ish now (I had been set up to be there at 3:30 or so, but, I don't think the sitter we had lined up will want sickies over) which isn't so bad, but, I still have this niggling feeling that I'll come down horrendously sick as the afternoon wears on (reference the wedding debacle)

Here's where I need your help! I'm sure I can go search out clips and feel a little more excited, but, I'm trying to not get into too many spoilers, and, just don't know if I can get it back, I feel like the song "I've Lost, that loving feeling .... whoa oh oh, that loving feeling, I've lost that loving feeling it's gone, gone, gone ... whoa oh oh!"

I need to hear from you!!! What are you excited about, what scenes can you just not wait for, what clips are giving you the goosebumps, what's fueling your high? Share the buzz with me!!! I want to be all giddy again! And I just don't think it's going to happen unless I catch it from someone like my kid caught the flu!

Ahhh, There It Is / The Other Shoe Drops

Yeah, remember when I said I was nervous because we were so close and yet so far? Here I am, four in the morning local time, and we've got a sick kid in the house.

Woke up with fever, headache, and feeling like he might throw up ... hopefully it doesn't go anywhere after that, but, at very least, likely means I won't be able to head for the theater at about 3:30 like I had planned, I will at least have to wait until 5:30 to head in (if I end up going at all *pout*)

I had considered I may get sick, but, overlooked the possibility that one of the kids would get sick, this makes it a little trickier of a decision when it comes down to it. All in all, it's a wait and see game from here, but, that does at least throw a damper on my New Moon Day.

I doubt he's this happy about being sick,

but, I'm about that thrilled...

NM: So Close I Can Taste It / In The Danger Zone

If you don't know this already, then I'm not sure why you're even here, but, NEW MOON OPENS TOMORROW!!! Well, technically friday, but, midnight showings/waiting in line starts tomorrow!!!

It's gotten crazy over here! We're going into town to see the movie, and I've heard that the theater we're going to (the town is just big enough to have two movie theater complexes) has sold out all fifteen of their screens worth of tickets to the midnight showing AND HAS ADDED A 3AM SHOWING!!! Which has never happened for any movie here ever. Even the star wars midnight showing I think only had one screen selling per theater! According to Fandango, this is the largest preselling movie in their history, and that 86% of last weeks ticket sales were to NM advanced showings! I knew it was going to be big, but, didn't know it was going to be THIS big! Ha, take that all you people who made fun of me for buying my tickets as soon as they were available!!! (you know, all my RL non-twi friends)

This both excites the crap outta me, and scares me, kinda a lot. We're so close, but, not close enough to let your guard down just yet!!!

One of the things that has me a little nervous is that a lot of people I know have been getting sick lately. I've even had a kid stay home earlier this week! So far I'm feeling fine, but, there has been dread in the back of my mind that I'll come down super sick tomorrow and have to miss... or at least I'd like to think I have the reserve and consideration to not try to go anyway and infect half the town while we wait in line.

Also, because of the fact I'm not sure I would stay home if I came down with the plague, I'm just prepared now to be sick on friday as I'm guessing that many other fans (read as 'far less sensible twits) will still show up regardless of how well they're feeling, and even with the best of precautions, we will be camping in line for several hours, and I'm sure there'll be germ passing going on!

Also, I will have to make a list, and obsessively check it at regular intervals, I'm worried I'm going to forget something important!!!! Like, when I moved all my stuff from the purse I had been using into my twilight purse that I bought with can money, and somehow didn't move the confirmation pages for our double feature tickets!!! That would have been catastrophic!!! Or how I keep reminding myself I'm going to have to charge everything (camera, ipod, computer, cell phone) for tomorrow. Or how I'll have to be sure ahead of time that I have enough gas and have packed snacks so I don't have to stop for anything along the way!!! Or how it just occurred to me that as we're going to be in line for hours and hours and then in the theater for hours, I likely should pack some dinner or something ... So much to worry about!

I've been vibrating like an agitated member of the wolf pack for days now, I can't think it's very good on my heart to live in this constant stage of excitement!!!

1) I'm very excited
2) I know I'm not outta the woods yet and hope that my fixation on the light at the end of the tunnel doesn't cause me to miss something important (like picking my kids up from school tomorrow...)

The Twidiculous Can Drive for an Ignoble Cause

After pondering how to get my grubby mits on some Twimerch for the premier, my initial ideas of stealing, donating plasma, and begging didn't really catch my fancy, so I continued to brainstorm ... a lot. It wasn't until I was tripping over Mr Twinatic's beer cans on my way to the kitchen that it hit me. A can drive!!!

For those of you that are not familiar with this concept and are wondering what the heck I'm talking about, let me elaborate.

I live in Oregon, a state with many little quirks about it. such as (but not limited to, and in no particular order) the following:

     - The most hippies per capita of anywhere on the planet anywhere
     - Other than mexico, it's the number one place VW bugs and busses go to die, and or live out their last legs (still the transportation of choice for said overwhelming number of hippies ... which I'm not mocking at all, I'm kind of one of them ... hippie lite if you will)
   - a country fair which, I've been told, is pretty much as close to attending the first woodstock/living the seventies as you can get.

     - No sales tax (slightly higher property tax though) the price tag really is what you pay (making all oregonians look like idiots first stop outta state on a trip)
   - is pretty much the best breastfeeding state, both as far as tolerance to breastfeeding, and as far as how many/how long breastfeed (in analysis reports comparing all states, Oregon is top in all categories in all tests that I could find)
     - a town where it's legal for everyone to go topless if they so please (although women aren't allowed to BBQ or mow the lawn without a shirt)
     - several nudist colonies
     - has the second highest minimum wage in the country
     - you can't pump your own gas, it's illegal, you get an attendant every time, no extra charge (again making us look like idiots first stop outta state)
     - the only state flag with two different sides

- microbrewries galore (we may be the microbrew capital of the US)
- the only place outside of Israel where Myrtlewood grows

     - the grass seed capital of the world (not even exaggerating here)
     - one of the only states with nearly every geographical feature possible in it
     - doctor assisted suicide
     - curbside co-mingled recycling service and yard waste debris collection (on garbage day, no extra charge, yay for hippies!)
     - fully nude strippers and fully stocked liquor bars in the same establishment (I know you super care about this one, but, apparently, that's pretty rare, and you may not realize this, but, that applies to both male and or female strippers, plus, they can't change it if they wanted to, it's in our constitution that it has to stay that way)
     - and last but not least (I'm sure there's much more, this list is just off the top of my head) Bottle Return! (again, generally thanks to the hippies that love to recycle)

All in all, a pretty sweet state! (and honestly, even though I'll travel a lot and visit many a place, I'm never moving out of state if I can help it!) But back to the subject at hand, you get 5 cents (where the heck is the little cents symbol?!?) for every aluminum can and every plastic or glass bottle you take back to the grocery store.

I gleefully announced my fund raiser on my RL facebook page, and although several people liked my post, no one coughed up any cans! Not a great way to start off a fund raising effort, but, it was okay, I had a plan! Mr Twinatic likes his evening imbibement most definitely. He does not however, like to return his cans. I refuse to let him just recycle them, as it's literally throwing away money! I haven't taken them back since summer, so they've been building up for at least six months, this plan was perfect!!! Also, my in laws like to host a lot of football related excuses to drink and also hadn't taken many back.

All in all, two days, some change scrounging, and tons of coins later, I was able to come up with $50.00 and hit up Hot Topic this morning, I ended up getting a shirt AND the handbag!!! Super Score!!! I now feel ready (or very nearly) for the premier!

Nothing to Wear!!!

Now that we're officially in the New Moon week (SQUEEE!!!), the planning is ramping up.

Previously, we've talked about and tried to coordinate when we're meeting, what supplies we'll be bringing, and what to do while we're in line.

We've decided on hip flasks, bringing the minis, had a plan to watch Twilight on my laptop while in line (which changed when we heard about the secret unannounced double feature) bringing my twilight director's notebook/movie companion, cupcakes were discussed, as well as many other plans.

I hadn't, until yesterday, thought much about what I was going to wear.

I had ruled out 'Going as a Cullen' when I realized the contacts were super expensive, but, that was about it. I knew I was going to get out my bracelets and kind of left it at that.

Yesterday though, I really started to think about what clothes I was going to wear, and realized ... I want a proper shirt, and I want it BAD!!!

Like going to a concert, you just have to have the right shirt to wear!!! (although while at a concert you can wear another band's shirt that's similar to the one whos show you're at, or the band you're seeings shirt from a previous tour, not the shirt you bought at the concession stand that day, I don't think such rules apply to movie going...)

So I cruised over to the Hot Topic New Moon Store, and started browsing their selection. Wow, they have a lot of nice stuff!!! I had previously perused the Nordstrom's line, and it's okay, but, not quite what I was looking for. HT seems to be my merch supplier of choice.

After looking around I decided that one of my most favorites was the Edward Shirt which is not only dreamy on the front:

I think Mr. Twinatic may just shit a brick (or get his eyes stuck in his head from rolling them so hard) if I end up getting this one.

I also found this Most Awesome Reversible Purse!!! It has two printed sides so you can wear it either way out, then it has a nifty pattern on the inside, it's like three purses in one!!!

WANT SO HARD!!!

I was very impressed by how awesome it is and how I feel like I'm getting such a bargain! By now, I am also far enough out of the Twi-closet, I would wear it loud and proud!

The main problem is moolah, as in we don't have any, and also as in I have already spent WAY more money on this that I need to/we have/I have in practically a years worth of spending budget (keep in mind spending budget is not really big round here) so although I have a near pathological need to posses these items and wear them on Thursday, I can't just yet ... but, I'm working on it ...

So far, I've found out there's a plasma donation center in the area, I'm going to call and see what they pay, and find out if I can free up two hours of time at any point ... will try to list some stuff from around the house on an eBay short auction, may finally take some old baby stuff to the consignment store, and last but not least, ask my boss for my paycheck a few days early this week ... see, twilight can be helpful, it's motivating me to do all these things I should be doing already (with the exception of plasma donation and begging for an advance ... those are not necessarily things I've been procrastinating about ...)

Last but not least, as I was putting this post together, I noticed a new Cullen Family Tee they just added today, that may now be holding second (and more reasonable) option to the edward tee ...

SQUEEE!!! We're on the Same Row!!!

... and then started SQUEEING!!! I had looked over at the calendar and noticed that WE ARE NOW IN THE SAME CALENDAR ROW AS THE PREMIER!!!

Mr Twinatic, in all his reserved glory, simply stared at me and took another sip of coffee. I could see in his eyes that he SO wanted to say something (likely in the vein of much mocking) but, to his credit, he resisted.

I appreciate that he lets me be such a spaz! ;)

Evicia Conversion Project: Update the First

As you may or may not have read in previous posts, my Bestie (of 23 years) Evicia, at long last asked to borrow the book.

The handover formally occurred, in a very dramatic fashion, (although no pix were taken; BOO), which involved much kneeling, parading, and overemphasized presentation of the book (the word 'bestowing' would at least apply), on Friday night.

I handed it over with the simple comment "ignore at least half of the bits about how pretty he is" and left it at that (there's so much more I wanted to say, but, didn't want to torpedo the effort...)

Last night (sunday) at about 10pm, I got the call. To be honest, I was expecting it sooner. As you probably can guess, it went a little like this:

Mr. Twinatic - answeres the phone and comes to hand it to me - "It's Ev"
Me - deep breathing for a moment to get over the pissed of getting a call that late on sunday, and to unclench my teeth enough to talk nice ...

(side note - I'm weirdly protective of my Sundays, no one may bother me, and if Ev calls, I usually don't mind, she gets a pass generally speaking, but, my boss called earlier in the afternoon to ask me questions that could only be answered if I was in front of the files on my computer at work, which immediately crashed my ability to further handle any other Sunday phone calls from the outside world)

Me - Hello (trying to not roll my eyes or growl)
Ev - Oh my gosh, I don't know if I can handle hearing about how beautiful he is even one more time!!!
Me - (thawing out immediately, if we're going to talk about twilight, it's ALL good!!!) *laughing* hey, you were warned, you have to just pretend it's not stated at least half if not two thirds of the time!
Ev - well, I can let some of it go, I remember what it was like to be in high school and to drool over someone, it really was nearly that painful, can I just say how glad I am to be grown up dating now? That being said, it's on mega overkill now!
Me - No shiz!
Ev - Can I also just say how funny I think it is that they cast the guy they did for the movie (side note - I know right? "That guy?" Whatevs, we're gonna work on this!) he's in no way pretty, he has a frankenbrow and is just not to be stared at with drool this much!

Me - *takes a minute to be able to rationally answer* get through the book first, then when we're near some internet (she has none right now) I'll show you a few things. I didn't necessarily like how they styled him for twilight, but, there's some photo shoots you should see. If you get to the webs without me, just look up GQ Pattinson for starters.

Ev - I'm also going to say, I'm about a hundred pages in, and it doesn't seem to be getting better...
Me - *pausing a moment again to apply my restraint so I don't go all preachy fangirl on her ass* It's one of those things you'll just have to get through the first one, and plow through the rest, then I'll give you some supplemental reading and you'll hopefully start to see what this is about, so bear with me here. They get a bit better written as they go. Keep in mind, with the way it came to her, and her prior history of writing, this is basically fanfic. It's a great story that happened to a not quite so awesome writer and then was passed to a terrible screenwriter and a batshit director. Even if you may not love the books or the movie, there's so much about it that's awesome! You're gonna have to spot me some faith for a tad, it's a long haul imersion.
Ev - okay, I trust you...but, I'm not sure I'll get it...
Me - *trying to not show too much of the crazy zeal* yeah, once you get past the canon, there's all kinds of extras (midnight sun) and fanfics that really add some dimension and maturity-ish. Someday we'll get you to the point that cupcakes, lemons, and unicorns mean soemthing so much more to you than they do now.
Ev - *laughs* not gonna lie, I'm feeling a little scared right now ...

And so it went for a bit longer. I pulled back the curtain just enough to let her know that my twicraziness goes much deeper than anyone in my RL currently knows. That not even Mr Twinatic nor current PartTime TwiPartner in Crime Parker knows how bad it is (that I blog, that I follow dozens upon dozens of blogs, that I set up blogger, gmail, facebook, and twitter accounts just for this, that I've not only read my first fanfic, but, read more fanfic than real books as of late, or just how many magazines and action figures I have, that I have jewelry now, etc). She asked if I had written a fanfic and laughed when I admited that I've got two I'm on the verge of writing.

Ultimately, I plan to get her through the book, midnight sun, the other three, the movie, then move her onto wide awake, the office, etc. ultimately securing her as a co-blogger (hey, I dream big m'kay ;)

The long and the short, we'll just have to wait to see how this goes. So far, it doesn't impress her much, but, to be fair, at this point, it had only impressed me marginally more, and now look where I'm at ;)

Ev - I just want to point out that this is one of those moments where you see how good our friendship is, I hear you talking about this and can hear the crazy. I know you well enough to know that it's a lot deeper than you're letting on, and it doesn't even lower my opinion of you one iota. I hope you know it's for you I'm reading this at all.

Ev - well okay, you're right, it's for Bethy I started it, but, it's for you I'm sticking with it.
Me - aww, may I just reemphasize how much Parker and I are going to flip when you join us?

Twinatic Is Now On Twitter

I haven't really seriously signed up for twitter before, as I don't have a cool phone, or a plan, that would support such a habit.

From time to time I've gone over and read up what someone was tweeting (@simonpegg cracks me up on a regular basis) but, haven't really followed anyone or posted.

Until today. I finally broke down and started a twitter page. More and more lately, I've been reading on the blogs I follow that there is a lot of in between post tweeting going on, and I'm starting to feel like I'm missing half the action. Then, last night, STY posts (over on twitarded) that they got an e-mail that they went to twitter for input on, and then I really felt left out!

So, today I went and opened up a twitter account! The tweet title I wanted was already taken, so, I had to come up with something else. You can now find me over at www.twitter.com/MollyTwinatic if you care about such things. I can't say I'll be very verbose, but, now I can at least follow the action from time to time and see what I've been missing.

Also, well rounded geek that I am (I'm working on this term, I used to use omni-geek to describe that I'm a big geek in multiple areas, but, it came across as sounding like I think I know everything geek, which I don't, so I'm trying on multi-geek, renaissance geek, and well rounded geek, we'll see what sticks) anywho, the point is, I'm a big geek, about a lot of things, also and very specific, so I spent WAY too much time this morning adding the twitter widget to the side of the page and dinking with the html coding until it looked just right (color size, etc.) with the blog ;)

Ridiculous? Yes, yes it is, but, now I smile when I click to my blog and appreciate how well everything fits and that it's the right colors. Yes, I know I'm weird, I've come to terms with it, as it seems to be not changing anytime soon :)

And soon, I'm sure, I'll go waste way to much time on twitter adjusting the html so it looks more like the blog, no one else will care, but, I sure like the consistancey!

Unexpected Surprise

As you may or may not know, my longest known Bestie, Evicia, (introduced in the Parkvicia Birthday Bash post) has up until now, not been a twi-fan.

Not only has she been not a fan, she has been one of my most avid Twi-hecklers (you know them, will make fun of it at the drop of a hat, and announce to anyone around that you're a rabid fan if the topic even sort of comes up) and until yesterday, had shown no signs of ever changing. (She's an English major who turns her nose up at trashy pop fic.)

Yesterday she hit me out of the blue with "Can I borrow your copy of Twilight?"

As we were on the phone, I was able to keep my SQUEE to myself, and she couldn't see me hopping up and down like an idiot. I was very proud of the fact that I managed a very casual "sure" in response.

Although I'm ever so grateful to have my twi-partime partner in crime Parker, it would be oh so lovely to have Evicia on board as well! Plus, I know Parker is going to flip if this goes well! (and really now, by 'goes well' I don't just mean I'm hoping Ev likes it, I'm pulling for her to be smacked stupid with the twitarding stick!)

When finally I managed to nonchalantly slide the 'how come' question in, it turns out that Bethany, (the girl they assigned to Ev in the big sister program she's participating in) has read and loved the whole series, and although Ev never would have read them for me, she'll read them in order to have more in common/ things to talk about with Bethy. (which in all reality is very good big sissing)

Whatever, hi-five Bethany for potentially making my life a little more awesome!

It's still unknown if she'll convert into a fan, there is the possibility she'll just then be an educated hater (or most hopefully get twi-jacked and join me in the ranks of nonsensical crazy obsessive fangals *fingers crossed*), I'll keep you posted!

New Moon Minis

So, a while ago, I got myself the New Moon Mini Bella, and the New Moon Mini Jacob (series 1)

Even though I got them a bit ago. I just haven't done much with them. Apparently my NM induced ennui extended to playing with my toys, and reading my companion publications.

I only got Bella and Jacob so far because I decided to not spend an insane amount of money on action figures (for some reason, Alice is the most expensive of these minis, getting them separately was a bit spendy, and while getting a set was cheaper, then I'd be stuck with a Creepward) finally, one sensible spending decision when it comes to something twi! Yeah, we'll see how long that lasts ...

Anyway, here's the new Minis (and sorry in advance that the pix aren't so good this time, the settings on the cam weren't quite right, and then the battery died before I could do much to fix it...)

Introducing NM Mini B

and NM Mini J

I have until now, resisted in getting my original Mini E a Bella. All the Twilight Bella's that I found came with a Shadesward (not terrible, but, still ends up with an odd man out), and all of them, that I saw at least, had messed up faces.

I was thinking he may take a fancy to NM Bella, but, alas, this is not the case.

Other than the fact that he's not always too warm to new action figures, one of the biggest problems boils down to wardrobe.

I guess even though both stories happen at the same times of year in the books, in the movies, Twilight is in winter, and New Moon is a summer flick.

Whilst Edward bundles up pointlessly in a coat, Jacob and Bella are flaunting sleevless fares. Mini E just feels too overdressed next to NM Mini B. I think he either feels like he's being conspicuous by being over dressed, or that he's got the right amount of layers, and she's freezing without him even being able to offer her his coat. Part of my absence has been that for a while now I've been wanting to develop my writing, I've wanted to put out a better quality product, something more fleshed out and funny, like the fabulous girls over at Twilight. And then I got over it, I'm a full time mom, full time handyman, full time CPA, full time chef and coordinator, overtaxed on all, paid for none, oh, and I actually hold a paid job doing insurance billing submissions and office work at a local small business (that lets me have flexible hours and bring my ornery toddler along, so hey!)

I love the ladies at Twitarded, but, I'm just not them. I'm not to that level, yet. I may get there someday, I may not, I'm cool with it either way ;)

Also, it's just me, I don't have a partner in crime, so I'm letting myself off the hook in more ways than one. What gets written gets written. Could I do better? Yes. Is it practical with the life I'm living? Not so much.

Aside from that, I've had a lot of time lately to not only ruminate on all the tings wrong with twilight. But, how some of the demands/changes Scummit/CH/MR made have really changed where this whole thing is going, and what some things mean now. Even down to who some of the characters are anymore.

There will likely be a lot of whining on how we've been robbed. Boring? Maybe, but, it's where I'm at ;)

PS - also, I've been tagged by mmMoxie to do the Internet Meme that Twitarded started, I'll be getting to that in my usual lazy procrastinating way, so, you should be seeing that sometime before the close of '09...

Just like that, I'm over it! I've been AWOL due to a massive case of NM/Scummit/life induced ennui.

I hit a patch (as apparently did most of the twi-bloggy world) where New Moon was impossibly far away, yet, so much footage being leaked! Not close to the promo tour yet, but, being flooded with bits of the movie. Scummit being assholey about non licensed merch, but, no licsensed merch being released.

So close, and yet so far.

And now, snap, beyond it.

It didn't help that we've had to do a lot of winterizing, the kids are past the honeymoon stage of back to school, I hadn't been working out in like two months, we've been hashing over a few things with our mortgage company for about nine months now without making much progress, I've been being super creative with an upside down budget (we all still have our jobs thankfully, but, all hours have been cut back) stalked by a whiney teething toddler, and on and on. A lot of this has either been resolved, restarted, and or progress seen.

I went through a phase in early Oct where I was burned out on twilight, twilight blogs (as most of them were filled with yet even more new moon deets) and the books (as I didn't want to go over them again too close to the movie, or all the inconsistencies would piss me off) so I read some FanFic for a while, but, even that sort of started feeling repetitive.

So I went off the wall. It was weird, but, I've been on twi blackout. It started resolving itself a bit, when Scummit went after Twitarded on Zazzle (too lazy to make these links right now ... boo lazy girl, boo) something too stimulating and scandalizing to avoid, then I started re-listening to my twilight books on tape (listening processes differently than reading for me, some stuff sticks out that I may have previously overlooked, and some stuff goes right by) and now, I'm just feeling it again, maybe it's the Halloween weekend, the buzz in the air, maybe it's the complete overdo of Vampire Halloween on FB Vampire Wars (managing 4 vamps is nearly a full time job!)

Maybe it's because we're less than a month from NEW MOON!!! Maybe it's because I caught my first new moon spot on TV, but whatever it is, you should be seeing some new posts coming up soon!

It's no secret, I love Alex Meraz! Ever since they announced who would be the wolf pack, I've picked him out as my favoritest! I'm sure that the others are very nice, but, New Sam looks kinda old (and sometimes creepy, I'm sure I'll like him better after I see the movie) Jared is just kinda 'eh, and Embry just ... doesn't strike me quite right, I'm sure Kiowa is very nice and all, but, he just looks very intense (again in a slightly creepy way) and goofy every time I see him. And don't get me started on Quil, that's a whole other mess!

Anywho, Twiscoop on FB this morning sent me to Alex's myspace album and OMG!!! My very high opinion of him skyrocketed into the stratosphere!!!

In case you're not sure which one's Alex (what is wrong with you if you don't?!?) it's this guy, and for now, I'm ignoring the fact that he's married and his wife is pregnant (or had the kid recently, I haven't really checked)

Lost in Winterizing and FanFic Land

I've been a bad blogger, I'll admit it, I was doing so well maintaining my decently updating clip, and then, it was time to winterize, and most of my time went to getting the house ready for the rain (we live in oregon, the rain lasts for about six months once it gets started...)

On top of that, my spare time has been eaten by bills, trying to juggle an inverted budget, and oh noes, FAN FIC!!!

I've powered through The Office, The Submissive and The Dominate (just wasn't ready to dive into the training yet) am now in Clipped Wings & Inked Armor, and have a list of ones next on the docket (my yes, my no, poughkeepsie, emancipation proclamation, waiting for dawn, and the trip home.)

I'm too lazy right now (read as: twitching to get back to my fanfic) to make them links at this time, but, will do it soon. If you're thinking about trying any of these out, be aware, that The Office, and CW&IA are incomplete so far, they're posting new chapters here and there, but, they aren't full stories yet, you'll have to wait for the rest of it! (wide awake is another good one that's complete)

Waiting for New Moon is turning into quite the time consuming venture!

The long and the short, I will try to be better about posting a little more often, but, may be more distracted than usual as I get my jollies off over some steamie stories!

So Funny/New Ways to Watch Twilight/Gift Your SO

This blog has such a bad title because it kind of covers/addresses/was inspired by several different things (yeah, you get a bad explanation to explain the bad title...it's just one of those days/I'm getting a cold/am retarded) so this is going to be all over the place.

First, I have long thought that Twilight is not the best movie. I ate it up in the theater, made my mom buy the DVD the day it came out (I couldn't give summit money for that piece of crap, but, couldn't live without the only twilight movie out there either) and have watched it many many times, but know and acknowledge, it's not awesome.

More and more, I've found that I can't watch just the movie all the way through. I find myself time and again either just watching extras, or putting it in and just watching a few scenes here and there until over the course of a few days I've gotten through the whole movie. There's just so much wrong with it (I'm sure I'll eventually do a blog on that), I'm to the point where I can only take small doses at a time.

Secondly, I hadn't watched the DVD with commentary yet, but, somewhere along the line in the comments for this Twitarded post someone mentions that the commentary is so funny. That got me through another viewing, but, to be honest, I mostly just listened to it while I was doing something else. I was running out of ways to get to watch this hot mess!

Thirdly, Tara Twihard over at [Insert Tacky Fan Name Here] posted a blog with this video in it:

Which not only made me laugh, but, made me SQUEE as my inner omni-nerd recognized, by sound, Mike, Servo, and Crow! Could this really be? Two of my favorite things Twilight and MST3K together!

Which led me to follow the link to YouTube, read the paragraph, and deduce that this isn't just some clip someone hobbled together, that this may just be a full movie length thing, that the old MST3K team were still together and doing projects, just under the name RiffTrax now.

I then went to their site and found this bit of awesome, RiffTrax Take on Twilight! A full length MP3 audio track that you pay $4.00 for, download, and play while you're watching the movie! (you have to have a copy of the movie, the download is just their audio to be played at the same time)

I immediately bought the file, and made some plans, which brings me to...

Fourthly, as some of the other ladies in the Twidom have discovered, there's a lot of husbands that resent the whole obsession, can't stand the movie, can't stand RPattz, can't stand that this ... thing ... is eating so much of his wife's time!

My hubs is one of those men. He was initially appalled by the amount of twi stuff that started showing up around the house (he didn't even find the half of it!) Not pleased with the amount of my conversation it was starting to consume, the amount of times he caught me on the computer doing nothing but looking at twi blogs/pictures/merch/etc. He got a bit angry when he found my Mini E, even stating later when he confessed he found it "I obviously wasn't that mad, we still did it that day" (Nice Mr. Twinatic, very well put *eyeroll*)

But, in all fairness, he got over the frustration and anger pretty quick and has been living in acceptance and making fun of ever since.

He already knew I was crazy, already new I was a fangirl, already knew I had obsessive/collective tendencies. He's already been through my Sandman, ElfQuest, BtVS, LotR, firefly, heros, and many other, loves, and knows I sometimes tend to overlook the crappiness of some things if part of it has captured me enough in some way. So this wasn't new necessarily, I just think he wasn't thrilled to be going through it again, bigger, and over something he thought was so terrible through and through.

He hadn't watched the movie yet, he tried to read the books a bit on the sly so he could get a feel for this thing, but, couldn't he thinks the books are terrible and terribly written. He did not have high hopes for the movie and was downput even more when he heard me dogging on it as well.

In all Likelihood, he never would have watched it. Until I tapped into his love of MST3K, it wasn't going to happen. (mystery science theater 3000 for those who aren't familiar) I flat out told him last night that he was going to watch Twilight with me, and that Mike Nelson was going to help him through.

He actually got kind of exited.

It took a few tries to sync it up right, but then we were off, and let me tell you ladies IT WAS HILARIOUS!!!

Thanks to RiffTrax, I now have a new way to watch Twilight! I would only recommend this if you have a sense of humor, but, it was really nice to watch it with hubs, get a good laugh, and give him some knowledge (and ammo for that matter) of this thing I love.

When we got done, he confirmed that he thought it was in the top three of worst movies ever made, and that even with the riff, if they hadn't commented how they did in the first backpack running scene, he wouldn't have finished it. (and really, it's four dollars well spent for that scene alone, I almost choked on water and peed at the same time, it struck me just right)

After this long and rambly blog, the point is, go spend the four dollars and throw your hun/SO a bone, he will probably secretly love the smack down they lay on this movie! Plus, it's a way for you to spend time together without either party having to give in quite as much ; )

PS - they have both the PAL and the NTSC versions available, so everyone should be able to enjoy this!

Hot Topic's Brilliant Attempt to Get Guys Laid

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that Hot Topic just released all their licensed and authorized New Moon Merch today.

As is typical, coming from Scummit, some of it is cool, but, most of it is just phoned in. Movie posters and Cullen Crests plastered all over everything. To their credit though, it seems to be done slightly better/with more variety than with the Twilight merch.

I did find a few items really odd though:

When I ran across these Men's shirts (and yes I did check the size listing, they are posted as sized for men) my first thought was that no guy out there would ever wear this!

I don't even know any gay guys that like Twilight at all let alone enough to be seen in shirts like these. Even the ones that think RPattz is hot probably wouldn't go out with his face plastered that big on the front like that.

Puzzled by why a store would put something into development much less production that they had no hope of selling, I went on my merry way.

A while later, it hit me, I know who would wear and buy these shirts!

Men with SO's that were Twijacked would so buy these shirts, not to EVER wear out mind you, but, the smart man, would see the potential, if worn around the house, to get their wife/girlfriend/partners nearly undivided attention!

She would likely follow him around all day staring at his shirt just to see Edward plastered on a man she can reach out and molest if she so chooses. This may not sound as good as him getting the attention for him, but, as the Late (in posting only) Twilight Widower makes it sound, this would be a major improvement ;)

Maybe Christmas present for the hubs/boyfriend? He may not understand it at first, but, he might just get it when you follow him around the house drooling.

In response to a comment (left by SharonMacross) on my post about the NM minis, I decided to see if there really was a lego Edward, and to see if he did indeed look better than Creepward (wouldn't be hard!)

When I came across this piece of awesomeness:

The note with it reads "Edward Cullen Munny from Twilight - a gift to my beloved wife!" (would you look at that?!? a husband [not mine] who is not only okay with the twisession, but, enables it!)

Flickr user oky_doky1979 proceeds to explain that he made this bit of tender awesome by using this formula: super sculpey + acrylic paints + munny = twilight edward.....

I immediatly went to find what a munny is. It's a blank toy you can decorate/dress/sculpt for yourself into anything you want! (looks like I have another project here)

Which of course led me to look for other twilight munny's, so far, there's practically none of them, I would think this would change as news of this possibility gets around...

According to a recent interview, TL isn't feeling ready to be the focus of so much attention. Which, could be trouble. As RPattz learned after Twilight premiered, the fan base is mostly comprised of persistent, determined, wiley flocks of dirty birds! If he thinks it's bad now, he may want to just consider moving out of the country by 11/20!

Actual New Moon Minis @ Hot Topic ... FINALLY!!!

Hot Topic finally has the New Moon Minis for sale!!! Their $18.99 a peice, and even though they won't let me link over to the big pictures, you should go check them out, they're a bit different from the early models. They look a tad more poseable, but, less like the actors in some cases (poor Jacob), more like in others (finally a decent Bella, thank goodness) Also, if you go to each page and click the magnifying glass to take a bigger picture look at the figures, you can see the backs of the boxes as well.

One interesting thing is that the Alice and Bella figures measures 6"

while Jacob (who does not seem to be able to be shirtless) measures 6 1/5"

and Creepward measures 7" (SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THOSE PANTS?!?)

Shouldn't Jacob be 7" and Edward be 6.5" at this point?

Another curiosity I noticed, is that these are labeled series 1 figures. Are they going to have more than one set of NM minis? Maybe these are series 1 from the beginning of the movie, and they'll have series 2 (shirtless Jacob AND shirtless Edward anyone?) later where Jacob will be taller ...

HELP!!! My husband in his thoughtless ways, has locked me (accidentally according to him) out of the room that houses my computer!!! I'm cut off from the internet, my checkbook, all filing, and, ahem, ALL THINGS TWI (well my movie wasn't in there, but, all the books and magazines were as well as the INTERNET!!!

Oh the HORROR!!!

Anywho, I'm borrowing an uplink for now, but, won't be "back online" until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest (unless we're willing to kiss an antique door goodbye and risk ruining the lintel while we're at it, which as of now, I'm not quite there yet ... if we can't get a locksmith by tomorrow afternoon though ...)

Anywho, I'll have lots of movie crap to bitch about when I get back, in the meantime, I just wanted to vent a little and share my misery with people that will empathize (as Mr. Twinatic just doesn't see why the situation is so horrible, that is until I reminded him that the house payment NEEDS to go out tomorrow or it could mean BIG trouble with our trial period agreement, then he saw a bit more the bad, still doesn't get the internet withdrawl, or the need of the twifix)

I don't know if you've ever seen the the juicebox/take 180 productions, but, they've done parodies of both twilight and new moon among other things. I've seen them before, but, my hubs, recently becoming aware of my obsession, and learning newly every day how deep it is, found these and felt the need to share. Very funny, very clever parody, the only kind I appreciate! I hope he's not too disapointed when he realizes that not only have I seen them already, but, I thought they were funny. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Reverse Robward Just Doesn't Quite Look Right ...

I KNOW that OK magazine is crap. I know they use massive amounts of photographs sourced from the stalkerazzi, I know that they make stuff up and lie incessantly just to sell magazines. I know they go with what they think are current trends and cover their magazine with it as much as possible.

I know these things. I don't agree with these things. Because of these things, I will never buy a copy of OK magazine.

But, I can't help nearly sprinting over to the magazine rack every time I'm in the store this last week when I see this:

At which point I realize which magazine it is and reel myself back in. This has happened several times. I, by now, know which magazine it is, but, still get a jolt every time I catch him out of the corner of my eye, and then am even more disappointed when I realize what I'm seeing. It doesn't help that they've covered up most of their logo with his head.

One thing I've noticed time and again when I get a chance to really look at it, is that I keep think that Rob looks a little odd ... I worry about him a little, maybe he's not feeling well? Maybe he's on something? I couldn't quite put my finger on it, until today.

Those bastards have used the US Weekly New Moon special cover photo and reversed it!

Which is why he looks a little odd to those of us who have his face burned into our brains! Those unfair players have used out beloved Rob just to catch the eye of us Twihards, and specifically that picture because I think they know we're aware of the US special and know that we know it's coming soon! Now that's just mean!

Why can't it just be Sept. 25th already!

As I'm sure you've heard by now (as the whole twilogosphere is drenching panties over it), Sorority Row (opened today) features a new trailer for New Moon!

It is FABULOUS!!!!!!!

Action looks great, the acting looks better, the wolves look better than the first glimpse of them we had (in the second trailer) the drama and tension seem fab!

Standing O for Chris Weitz!!! It looks like he really did it right. If the movie is anything like the trailer, I think it's going to probably be THE BEST MOVIE IN THE WORLD!

If it holds up, I would really like to see him get Breaking Dawn(NO CH!!!)

The only thing I'm really wondering about is WTF is going on with the Edward/Dimitri wrestling match? Um, maybe I wasn't paying attention, but, I don't remember anything about that ...

Without further adieu, here is the best NM trailer (as far as good angle, not too flickery, no fangirls screaming, and has the whole thing) I've found so far!

Have a drool bucket ready, be sitting down, and somewhere that massive ammounts of SQUEEing would be allowed... ENJOY!!!

I'm not usually the report the news type, mostly because I'm never the one on top of the news. But, an article in an Austrailian mag, Film Ink, September issue, came out covering New Moon. Talking to the director, etc. (the whole thing can be read over on mrpattinson.com)

One thing that is freaking me out, that I have yet to really hear much about, is that Producer Wyck Godfrey implies that Catherine Hardwicke may be back as director for Breaking Dawn!!! (see about the second paragraph of the second page [first page of text] in the article)

Summit seems to be under the impression that everybody liked CH and was super sad to see her go.

Really now, what the hale is going on with that hair?!?

I don't know about you, but, from what I read/hear/obsessively talk about with people, nobody liked what she did with the movie! (with or without the ruining help of Melissa Rosenberg)

Breaking Dawn will already be tricky enough to pull off right, PLEASE DON'T let CH be in charge of something that particular!

I've watched the interviews she's given, read the director's notebook, and seen most of the extras with her on the DVD. I've never seen someone more scattered and out of touch with reality while she thinks she's cool, short of my grandmother that tried to tell me using coiled neon bungees instead of laces on her shoes was cool and "very in" right now.

Handy? Maybe. Cool? Not so much ...

That just doesn't seem like the type of person that would be able to get all the nuance out of BD (especially if they're cramming the whole book into one movie)

Even the actors state that working with her was super manic, again, just not right for this stage of the game.

Hopefully it doesn't come to fruition, but, I'll be much relieved when they officially announce who the director will be, if they're doing one movie or two, if they'll be using the same screen writer, etc. (ftr - the answers should be 'someone else', two, and no)

Some Pointless Suggesting Toward Summit; RE: Breaking Dawn

Dearest Summit,

I know you will not listen to my suggestions, as you don't really give two farts about the fan base or pleasing them, you just want to factory mass produce this thing so you can make money, but, I digress, the point is, you should listen, it would make people happier and make you even MORE money.

As I'm re-reading Breaking Dawn (again!) it occurs to me that there could be a few steps taken that would make it wildly better than the ruination summit plans to put out. Here's some suggestions (off the top of my head, I'm sure there will be more to follow later)

1) FIRE Melissa Rosenberg (twilight/new moon/eclipse screenwriter)

I repeat FIRE HER ASS; DO NOT let her ruin this project too!!! She may be a lovely person, she may be good at adapting other genre of books to movie, but, she IS NOT a good fit as the screenwriter for the Twilight Saga. She has proved this already (time and again, or so I've heard), she's under the misapprehension that this is her story to tell and that she needs to change the whole character of the characters, and change all their dynamics/relationships to make it work. It needs to stop!

but, not bad enough to not do it ...)

As a replacement I would recommend looking into the possibility of aquiring Philippa Boyens, or Fran Walsh (two of the lord of the rings co-screenwriters; Peter Jackson was the third, but, I don't know how Twi he would be...) ladies who were able to get the book successfully translated to what works on the big screen, but, didn't mess with the plot too much, and all in all kept it marvelously in tune with the spirit of the story.

2) Break it up into two movies.

There is just too much in that story to fit into one movie. At all, let alone well. Try Bella I and Jacob as one movie, and save Bella II for the second one. Or, go for 3+ hrs if you feel the need to cram it all into one. Whatever you do, DO NOT go 2hrs or less for the whole stinkin' book. I can tell you now, it will suck if you do!

The other benefit of breaking it up, is that it will give you a whole nother year to work on the issue that is Renesmee. It'll be tough to get that to work ANYWAY, even more so if you rush right into it. If you break BD into two, you can still milk your cashcow on a factory pace, but, give a little extra time to work out how to do Renesmee right!

3) Rate it R

Please please please, give it an R rating. I know you're worried about some of the tweenies/teenies not being able to go see an R movie as many times as not, but, really, they'll get in there anyway, if nothing else, their bad twi-moms will march right up and buy tickets for both of them to see it together. Trust me, this will not hurt your ticket sales!!!

Plus, really looking at the material, you'll need the R rating to do it justice anyway.Honeymoon (partial nudity needed) wolf pack transforms (I think we can get a full nude butt shot on jacob, he'll be 18 by then!) blood and gore of the whole pregnancy/birth thing, SECOND HONEYMOON (I think even more nudity is called for) battle training, etc.

4) Hire a better wardrobe consultant.

Obviously we're stuck with the cast we have (in some cases a very good thing, in some, not so much) so let's at least dress them like they're supposed to be dressed! With Alice being SUCH a fashion maven, we would never actually see the likes of Rosalie (who is supposed to look and dress like a fashion model, and if we can't get "looks like", maybe we can at least get "dresses like") wearing those bleached out denim atrocities that make her look five miles wide and like she lives in a trailer park, like we see her in in the first movie. Although none of them are dressed TOO terribly, not much of it "hints at designer origins" as we know about our Cullens.

5) STOP RECASTING PEOPLE!!!

There's a reason they were picked the first time! Either think harder before casting people, think through the WHOLE story and what that means for the character, or learn to live with and work with what YOU already picked!

6) Put out better merchandise!

Yes, you can probably wrap poo up in plastiwrap, label it as wolfpack droppings, and some fan would probably buy it. But, you won't sell as many as if it was an actually quality product. Ask SM, ask some fans, get some input on your possibilities, if you quit half assing it, you will sell more.

yes, I know you probably want/will buy all of this, but,

please at least let yourself admit that they're really not trying that hard!

That's all I've got for now, I doubt you'll listen anyway, as you really don't care about anything but the money, but, I thought I'd try nonetheless.

Because I'm a Geek Like That!!!

We recently re-visited a children's museum, that we've been to many times before (pre twi-jacking), which has a very cool sand space in the middle of their preschool kids room.

I've always thought that the sand space was very neat and thought, in passing, that the fact that the sand is kind of pink and glittery was cool, but, never spent much more time or brain space on it beyond that ... until this visit that is (I'm sure you can guess why).

This time however, I was VERY interested in the sparkly sand, and spent a great deal of time trying to coat myself and my child with it, and trying to take a picture that showed it. (I'm sure all the other parents thought I was nuts, they're probably right) In retrospect it occurs to me that next time, we'll have to visit the water feature first, then dash over to the sand ... I bet it'd stick WAY better that way (the fact that I've been thinking on this long enough to come up with this strategy for next time kind of makes me think I may need to acknowledge I've got some problems here)

In the end, it didn't work out quite so well, but, I did get this little snippet of my "immortal child"

On another note, I spent a good deal of my lazy time yesterday doctoring up a photo so it was "Cullenized"

This is a first attempt, and is not fabulous, but, it's a start, and I think it turned out kind of cool. So much for every being able to deny that this nut is the one responsible for this blog ... oh well, I can always claim someone stole my picture and I had no knowledge of this ... yeah, we'll go with that ...

Being that there is only one theater who's carrying the showing, there isn't much choice about where to go or how to avoid the little kids. Hopefully (since it's just one theater) the older twihards (with their own credit cards) will preorder the whole thing out before the teenies can convince their moms (or dad's, or steal a cc) to let them go.

I thought for sure we'd be on pace for another November 20th (ish) release next fall as well. Apparently Summit just can't wait to cash in (and according to the rumor that the screenwriter RUINED new moon as well, they may just be trying to ride the backlash out with momentum) and is rushing the next two movies. They'll start filming Breaking Dawn as soon as Eclipse wraps by the sounds of it.

Because I Think of These Things: Vampire Hair

I do not directly recall Stephenie Meyer addressing this bit, but, I ran across a note, in the Twilight: Director's Notebook (even though I don't really like CH at all, I had to have it! I know you understand ;), which got me to thinking. What I found was on page 31, it's a styling note for Alice, written sideways pointing to the picture on page 30, it states:

"In Chapter 22 of Twilight,we find out that Alice was confined to a mental hospital in the 20's so her hair was cut off jagged - SHORT & SPIKY"

Which makes sense. It also makes me jump right to the conclusion that whatever hair you have when you're turned, is the hair that you end up with. It obviously doesn't grow anymore, but, I've been pondering recently that maybe you can't cut or change it's style either.

Let's just go with the idea that their hair is as indestructible as the rest of them. Scissors and razors wouldn't work obviously, but, maybe they could bite it off and burn it before it tried to reattach itself? Along these lines, I'm going to land on cannot go longer, but, maybe can go shorter.

As far as hairstyles, I'll buy it, it's consistent, they seem to tend to style them in ways that are consistent with their time periods (well, other than Emmett is supposed to have curls, but thank goodness they let that go rather than recruit yet another horrible wig to these movies! But, that will change Rosalie's story about baby Henry probably, and maybe why she wanted to save Emmett after all)

But, what about other hair things, like beards?

Or Sideburns/muttonchops?

for that matter, why are none of them bald?

Why do none of the boy vamps (Cullens, nomads, or other) have beards, mustaches, or facial hair of any kind? Were ALL of them clean shaven when they turned, no matter where in history? Or, maybe they get one last shave once they start turning? Do you think Carlisle shaved Edward once he got him home?

Back waxing maybe? Or do you have to live with a bear if that's what he was?

What about the girls then? Leg shaving wasn't always in vogue;
what if you got turned without shaven legs?

With hairy pits?

Do you have to live with that forever?

Or lip waxing, if you had a faint mustache are you just stuck?
Monobrow?

Thank goodness that vampire pairing seems to be a solid bond. Otherwise it may get to be kind of a drag looking at hair sweater dudes or man leg girls for the rest of time. (maybe there's just a lot of lights out adult party time going on...)

So now because I think of these things, and have a good imagination, I will share them and you can be stuck thinking of them too! (with pictures of course, because what if you're imagination just isn't up to snuff?)

TV Twinections

I'm quite far down the rabbit hole. You can tell this because I got ridiculously excited when flipping through the nothing that is on Friday nights, and I catch that Jennie Garth is on Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader. I started bouncing around and squeeing quietly.

For those of you who don't know (and why you're cruising twi-blogs if you don't even know the basics I don't know) Jennie Garth is married to Peter Facinelli aka Carlisle Cullen.

I couldn't help but flash back to the interview where they admitted she likes him to bring his Dr Cullen outfits home and wear them in the bedroom. (oh trust me, I would too if I was actually married to any of the Twilight men!)

She was playing for the American Heart Association (and geek that I am couldn't help but think of how Carlisle would approve of that charity) she started out well, and then ran into three or four legitimatly difficult and obscure questions. She ended up raising 100k for the charity and bowing out.

Good show overall, but, I was seriously more excited about when her daughter said she always goes to dad for help with homework (well, he IS a doctor!) than when she won 100k for charity. And was really more disappointed that I didn't have anyone to Squee this info to, than she left 75k on the table. I didn't really want to admit to Mr Twinatic that I was being so bouncy and cheering her on so enthusiastically because of yet another Twinection.

Since we have Hollywood, and not many foreign films star Americans or are as kickass as American movies (I know, this is starting to sound pretty bratty arrogant American here...bear with me though) I never really thought about going nuts for a bit character because he was born in your country.

Until I saw Twilighters Australia, a site dedicated to Adelaide born actor, Xavier Samuel, who landed the part of Newborn Riley in Eclipse.

Which just goes to show that other countries that love our movies are gaga for their actors that end up in them :)

The Game Has Changed (Hotness Ahead)

We've gotten used to it, debated it much with friends, read the books and argued over who was a better boyfriend. That has pretty much been it, until now. Not until the movies, not until they've given us a visual focal point for our obsession, did we see it was bigger than this.

Last Friday, Latchkey Wife introduced me to FACEinHOLE with her blog entry "Can I start calling us Robkey Wife?"

Being the mega ~~copy cat~~ Twilight lover I am, I decided to check out faceinhole and see what they had. OME is there some awesome stuff!!!

Because ~~Mr. Twinatic is a jealous man~~ I am madly in love with my husband, I decided instead of having a bunch with RPattz as my Edward, I'll do some with Mr. Twinatic as my Edward.

Here is my first attempt, which I promptly put up on Facebook, and then made my profile pic (because I'm crazy like that)

To which Mr. Twinatic promptly replies:

I just threw up in my mouth a little...

To which I replied:

well, if you don't like it, you don't have to be the one in the pic, RPattz can be my Edward if you prefer ...

Regardless, I thought I would give it one more go featuring Mr. Twinatic as Edward. To be honest, this is probably closer to how it would be...

Right about here, I got done trying to ~~placate~~ feature Mr Twinatic, and decided to try some with RPattz as my Edward. In pretty much all of which I look like a supergoober, but, actually isn't too far off from how it would go (I'm not terribly photogenic) but, I did notice that it really helps with these things if you have a similar hair color/texture as the original person in the picture... and while they possibly could have looked a little better with a little more time put in, I really didn't need to be wasting all the rest of my day daydreaming with photographic record of our love...

Turned out hot, but, maybe not quite the right head size in retrospect.

Again with 'that's probably the face I would make if faced with such a situation.

Tire swings are always fun, especially if you have your hand started down Robwards pants...

This one is my favorite, it actually came out looking quasi-real.
